Man I would love to work on this but, alas, time is hard to allocate.
Let me ask you some questions: do you wan't to help work on the Stock
Ticker app, do you know how to code in Javascript and QML, do you wan't to
learn these technologies?
If so, I may be able to organize a meat-up or class to help get us started
as a development team.

Both Javascript and QML have steep learning curves but also make very
advanced programming concepts very simple to implement into a project. It
takes a few weeks of learning to get to
the top of the mound but the top of the mound is a great place to be. Also,
keep in mind that both Javascript and QML are not "for everyone languages",
as its concepts are creative as well as methodical.
Feel free to respond to this or if you find anyone else with similar goals
to reach out to us.
