Stock Ticker app : connection error

Hi,

I recently install ubuntu on my nexus 4 with the information below :
- version 14
- Image 20150821
- description ubuntu 15.04-armhf (20150821-223501)
- description aosp_mako-userdebug 4.4.2 KOT49H 20150818-1500-0ubuntu1 test-keys

Bug description :
After the application is launched the application is loading up to getting the message "connection error", on both tabs Watched and Management.
The only thing I'm able to do is to look for an stock, a drop down list appears with some suggestions, afterwards when I select one nothing happen.
I didn't get any connection issue with other application

Hmm, cool, it is nice to see some interest in the Stock Ticker Project.
Perhaps I can look into a re-launch of the project into the newer Ubuntu
Touch API. This is not a small task however and as it stands I am the only
developer on the project. If we are to continue with bug reporting, then I
recommend a probe into Canonical project management to ensure that this
path conforms with the big picture of the Ubuntu Touch program. Until then,

THanks for your feedback.
I'm currently testing ubunut touch, i'm fairly impressed by the OS. I'm checking some feature that I need to use ubuntu as a daily driver, Stock market ticker is one of its.

How can I help and give a probe to Canonical project management ?

Right on, you have succeeded in your efforts to re-tool the Stock Ticker
app. I will reach out to the Ubuntu Touch teams to find more input
regarding a Stock Ticker re-tooling/updating.
There are many different channels for me/us to use in connecting to the

Ok, I was able to re-configure an instance to rectify this situation.
Please keep in mind the the nameserver in your area will need to update to
represent the changes made.
The bug/problem is resolved (here) at my computer so all others should be
working immediate or in the next 24 hours or so. Thank you for taking an
interest in the Stock Ticker
app an d be sure to let me know if the problem persists or you have any
other concerns

Thank Robert for your quick feedback, I'm able to follow the stock now.
I guess you can close this bug as resolve, I found 2 other bugs that i'll report somewhere else ;
- impossible to save a stock, i've to add each time i open the app. I'll follow this #1187477
- the graph isn't display.

Man I would love to work on this but, alas, time is hard to allocate.
Let me ask you some questions: do you wan't to help work on the Stock
Ticker app, do you know how to code in Javascript and QML, do you wan't to
learn these technologies?
If so, I may be able to organize a meat-up or class to help get us started
as a development team.

Both Javascript and QML have steep learning curves but also make very
advanced programming concepts very simple to implement into a project. It
takes a few weeks of learning to get to
the top of the mound but the top of the mound is a great place to be. Also,
keep in mind that both Javascript and QML are not "for everyone languages",
as its concepts are creative as well as methodical.
Feel free to respond to this or if you find anyone else with similar goals
to reach out to us.

Robert I understand, that time is precious.

Unfortunately, I never developed any program by myself, I only know how to use linux fairly well as a hobby.
