If you just want to show a handful of bright stars with their Scottish Gaelic names (which should be in common active use), but else have Western Skyculture (constellations, all the other names, etc), you could translate the star name as in "Reul an Iuchair (Sirius)" in your Scottish Gaelic skyculture language. (Star names are all translatable and should be available in Rosetta.) I still heavily recommend adding the common astronomical name in brackets though.

Then just use Western Skyculture with Scottish Gaelic Skyculture Language.

If you have a completely distinct skyculture (constellations, mythology), it's time for a new Skyculture, yes.
