To reproduce run (ensure strace-static is not installed):

$ sudo snap install --channel=latest/stable strace-static
strace-static 4.20 from Canonical✓ installed
Channel latest/stable for strace-static is closed; temporarily forwarding to stable.

This happens with 2.36.1
