<Ricza> I set the timezone to by local timezone on first setup. After reading the recommended fix I have tried GMT as well as UTC, with little change.

 How far along are you at this point? Just experimenting, actually have things set up for a real school, in production?
<Ricza> We are in the process of setting up for a new school, but not too far along as yet
