We should be checking in with Douglas on this, since he will have more
insight than I will. Elkner-Alfaro is an example of adapting the
situation to a new cultural context, like I mentioned earlier. It
wouldn't be acceptable in a Spanish speaking country because that's
not how they do things. Sorting should occur on the first of the last
names, I believe (we can confirm easily with Douglas). -- jeff
