#2 and #3 are still present in the current revision.

The reason is the following: the wood pile of the charburner needs *all* 6 adjoining nodes (surrounding its position) to be *completely* free. There must not be a road, there must not be a flag, there must also not be a building that occupies these nodes at its border.

This means, that there are only *2* possible places for the charburner to create wood piles. Any other place would have one or more of the 6 neighbouring nodes be adjacent to the charburner building itself, or there would be a road leading away from the charburner. And these two positions are only *then* usable for the charburner, if you build the road leading away from the charburner one node to the sout-east first. If you build the road straight to the west or east, the charburner will lose a place to build a wood pile as well.

The fix would be to make the wood pile have the same requirements for space the cornfield of the farmer. A cornfield does not require the 6 adjoining nodes to be free.
