Does this occur in other packages that use gstreamer? Pithos just asks gstreamer for its default audio output device. Make sure this is set correctly in Multimedia Systems Selector (gstreamer-properties from the command line).
It also appears that your gstreamer has decided to use neon for HTTP. I haven't heard of that before, and have only tested Pithos with libsoup HTTP. I'm not sure what the difference is or whether that would cause a problem. The neon source only appears to be complaining because it has no output device.
