Pithos failing to play, trying to use bluetooth plugin

I created a Slackware 13.1 package. Pithos will connect to Pandora fine. However, it will not play any songs. It appears to be trying to use a bluetooth plugin which is strange since I do not have a bluetooth device. If I remove the bluetooth gst-plugin, gstreamer complains about a missing plugin. Eventually, after trying to play several songs, gstreamer gives up.

Does this occur in other packages that use gstreamer? Pithos just asks gstreamer for its default audio output device. Make sure this is set correctly in Multimedia Systems Selector (gstreamer-properties from the command line).

It also appears that your gstreamer has decided to use neon for HTTP. I haven't heard of that before, and have only tested Pithos with libsoup HTTP. I'm not sure what the difference is or whether that would cause a problem. The neon source only appears to be complaining because it has no output device.

gstreamer-properties, I believe, is specific to GNOME. I am running KDE4, which uses Phonon as its sound system. The backend I use is Xine, but I can switch it to gstreamer and it still works fine. I used the "Test" sound button and also streamed some internet music in Amarok to test gstreamer. However, pithos still performs exactly the way it did before this change.

Do you know how to manually make gstreamer or pithos use a different audio output device? I don't know why it is trying to open a bluetooth device.

I know almost nothing about neon and libsoup. To be clear, I am not using a proxy of any sort.
