can you execute "wine --patches" and post the output of the command?

I think your problem is not related to the core fonts but maybe related to graphic acceleration. You can check this by opening the following website: http://bubblemark.com/silverlight2.html which does not use graphic acceleration (in opposite to netflix). If this is the case your problem is caused by either a missing or incompatible 32 bit libGL. You can disable hardware acceleration by executing "/usr/share/pipelight/configure-silverlight" and answering the question with disable.

It might also help if you post your output of "glxinfo".
