Thanks for clarifying - it was hard to tell from the description, and I think Launchpad incorrectly tagged a couple unrelated bugs that day as bugs for Pinta
The screenshot in your comment seems to be missing / unavailable - could you try reattaching?
Also, which version of Pinta and installation method (e.g. snap / flatpak) are you using? Pinta 2.1 is using GTK3, so it's possible that other apps you tested are using GTK4, and perhaps KDE is doing something GTK4-specific
