Global menu empty in KDE 6

In KDE 6, when the "Global Menu" applet is enabled, the in-app menu is disabled which is normal. However it does not appear in the status bar either, where it should. To access it, the user has to disable this applet.

This doesn't sound like a bug with Pinta. Did you mean to file this elsewhere?

This has to do with Pinta since over tens of apps, it's the only one with this problem. Or have the KDE devs specifically banned Pinta from working properly ? Doubt it.

Thanks for clarifying - it was hard to tell from the description, and I think Launchpad incorrectly tagged a couple unrelated bugs that day as bugs for Pinta

The screenshot in your comment seems to be missing / unavailable - could you try reattaching?

Also, which version of Pinta and installation method (e.g. snap / flatpak) are you using? Pinta 2.1 is using GTK3, so it's possible that other apps you tested are using GTK4, and perhaps KDE is doing something GTK4-specific

Well it's not really that important, it just shows how there's no menu bar.
