Thank you Cameron -

I am running Pinta 1.4 which was the executable that was available on the
download site. I did go to the Pinta 1.5 site and downloaded the tar file
.. But what I got was all the source necessary to build the executable.
This is NOT what I want. I do not plan to make any additions to Pinta and
simply want the executable to run so that I can work with graphic images.

I do not have the development tools to build it on the Mac. Where can I
get the executable for Pinta 1.5?????
