Mowgli (mowgli-kun) wrote : Option to Isolate Dock's Window Management and Workspaces

First time reporting a bug, so please let me know if I'm missing anything. =)

This report is an expansion of comment #6 on this page: https://bugs.launchpad.net/plank/+bug/1053202

Plank should have the option to isolate window management to the current workspace. As of now, we only have a limited implementation of this feature, as implemented from the link above, which only works for unpinned applications.

Ideally, there should be a optional setting for plank that sets it to only handle windows on the current workspace (applyng to both pinned and unpinned applications). I believe this holds true to general feel of the Elementary desktop, clearing out the clutter and letting the user focus on the task at hand.

Furthermore, this feature is available in every other available Dock on Linux (Docky, Cairo-Dock, AWN, DockbarX). It's a small tweak that will greatly improve the workflow of many, like myself, who use Workspaces to "compartmentalize" their jobs.
