Thanks for the valid concern - we are currently working on overhauling the documentation.

At present, this is the most updated document: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/openstack-ansible/install-guide/configure-network-services.html#load-balancing-service-optional

The old version is this one: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/openstack-ansible/install-guide/configure-lbaas.html

We are working with infra to ensure that the correct search appears when you google but there is nothing we can do at present from a documentation perspective.
