Jan - Me! Seriously though, we do find a number of users using netbooks, so small screen size is something we need to think about. But maybe moimaels & Jonathan's suggestions find a way around that...

If we do make the effects/transition panels visible by a preference or theme setting then we should also add a menu item on the clip right click menu to allow adding of effects/transitions, for when the panels would be hidden (maybe we should do that anyway, to save switching between tabs).
