Bug Description
Hi, I've encountered a bug: sometimes onBoard starts showing labels on the buttons as if I were holding shift: letters are capitalized and numbers are replaced with special characters, e.g. "!" is shown instead of 1. When I press them, it's all right, letters are entered in lower case, and digits, not spec. chars appear. Shift button is not glowing. When I actually press shift, labels don't change, and the characters entered become uppercase/
I've failed to determine precise conditions, upon which this bug occurs.
Versions:
* standard debian 7 without any tweaks, standard Gnome3.4, 686pae linux3.2 kernel
* onboard-
https:/
* virtkey-0.63.0 built from source tarball
Thanks!

Thanks for the bug report. Having those labels stuck in uppercase sounds quite familiar, though having it happen right on startup seems new. In the past there were issues with counting the active shift keys going wrong. Those were supposed to be fixed, though.
Since you built from source before, would you mind building both virtkey and Onboard straight from bazaar? This will make sure we're on the same page. There are plenty new features to try out too.
Some instructions are in the original thread of question #226567, comment #5 in particular. Just ask if you need more help.
