This is more of a feature request than a bug.

Instead of using the button menu at the top, would be nice to support the default system environment menu which also will incorporate the Ubuntu global menu...

ps - Instead of filling another bug I'm just going to add it here as a second feature request...

Hide parts of the player which are irrelevant as a stand alone player such as the top Google menu for accessing gmail, calendar, etc... (perhaps an option under preferences to show/hide)
