I was having the same problem, and I just installed the native 64-bit adobe flash player according to Sean's instructions. Seems to be working fine so far. It seems Adobe has releases a new alpha version (10.0.d21.1) of the plugin since though, so the instructions go as follows:
This new version 10.0.d21.1 has a timestamp Dec 10, 2008 -- does anybody know whether there's a newer one yet? The macromedia.com download directory isn't browsable, and I couldn't find any official site dealing with this. Where does Adobe officially release these things?
