I like the popUp for the Library Tab and the idea place a playlist table and the
library table next to each other. But some of the stuff is unclear to me.

In your Info Tab, which Table is shown there?
What is shown in the More Tab, this makes no sense to me without some explanation.
Where are the results of a search in the "Search all (FTS index based)" field shown?
What does FTS stand for?

I've worked on a update of my design over this week and added some of Daniels stuff.

Library Tab
 - This treeview is similar to the one in Clementine, I've just left out the big
Letters. I think they look ridiculous if you have only one genre that starts
   with A for example
 - if a Playlist is opened we get a 2 column layout on the right.
 - I would like to have a Table for the library since this way we can display
a lot of track meta data like bpm/key/length/... which is not possible in
a tree view. I like this because I can to a quick search in the treeview and
see a lot of information in the table.
 - the treeview grouping can be changed with a button
 - access to Rhytembox/Clementine/... is given with a popUp, see Daniels MockUp

Crates Tab
 - iPhoto and Shotwell can group different Events and show them in a grid. This
scheme should work for crates as well.
 - once a crate is selected it will be shown at the top and under it a treeview
   grouped by artist/song

Artist/Track Info
 - this should work like the taskbar in andriod. You can pull up the track info
for the selected track. There should be some programs with a smiliar GUI for
this but I can't remember any.

More
 - Recordings/Set Logs/Analyze are things that would distract my in the library
so I've put them here, but I'm not a DJ so any advice where this should be put
   is appreciated

Coverflow
 - can be activated with the "view" button. This could be useful for crates and
emulated the analog search in a crate. Ideally a doubleclick on the CoverArt
should give a Tracklist (like Coverflow on an iPod). But I'm not sure if Apple
has any design patents on this. I know that VirtualDJ has Coverflow, they show
the cover for every track that is found in the current table.
