Tested the pre-0.4 alpha version again and did not get this problem. The call screen showed up fine; it was just inaccessible through the Tekla arrows/keyboard. In principle, yes, I could get another dialer and try it - my SGH-i897 dialpad also has issues working with Tekla, it seems.
