Comment 30 for bug 931134

Can you make sure (again, I know) that no me-tv is running with this
command: "ps -A | grep me-tv" (nothing should come out)

Then start me-tv-server with the argument "-v" (me-tv-server -v)

You should see something like:

2012-03-18 17:22:50: Creating stream manager
2012-03-18 17:22:50: Thread 'Network Server' created
2012-03-18 17:22:50: Starting socket service on port 1999
2012-03-18 17:22:50: Waiting for 'Network Server' to start
2012-03-18 17:22:50: Thread 'Network Server' started
2012-03-18 17:22:50: Me TV Server entering main loop

The last 4 lines are the most important for the communication between the
client and the server. Since the communication between the client and the
server is using the network, do you have any firewall or something else
blocking the communication ?

I will make a fresh install on an other computer to check that out. Maybe
I've made a change to my computer making it work but don't remember it.
