ok i created a new user loged out restarted and loged in with new user account still no sound

Bug description:
  when i installed 10.04 sound was fine every thing worked great when i
  installed 10.10 and then 11.04 upgrade it stoped working. this laptop
  is a toshiba satelite m115 - S1064  actually it may be a kernal modul
  problem
