Ok, thanks for the poke ack.

Turns out it WAS a non-standard script. I think it was added by newell when he was testing httpboot on our system. But I've deleted the errant script and while I can't re-test this to be sure since the Focal kernels have disappeared from the Commissioning kernel option, I'm pretty sure this fixes it.
