Bug Description

While an upgrade proceeds quite fine, it ends up with LXQt on top of LXDE which leads to all sorts of oddities, such as:

 * duplicate network icon (remove GNOME Network Manager to solve)
 * duplicate power icon (remove XFCE Power Manager to solve)
 * panel color and system tray icons conflict

You hit the nail on the head: at this point there is no clear, clean pathway to upgrade. It will likely be something that comes in the form of documentation, though.
