Is this going to be fixed for Ubuntu 11.10? It seems odd that the main software suite, for some, in Ubuntu should be dysfunctional. I have added a comment to a relevant thread in the Oneiric forum (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1834662)
