Bug Description

The area which-in you can have your mouse when the scrollbar on the left hand side of the mint-menu is pressed is too small. In about every other Linux Mint application you can move your mouse outside of the scrollbar once it is clicked and the button is held down and you will still be holding the scrollbar. In mintmenu you will loose the grip of the scrollbar if you move the mouse outside of the scrollbar. This behaviour is an oddity and results in frustration while using the menu.

This along with the flickering in the mintMenu is the only two complaints I ever receive about the menu. I hope this bug will be fixed within the near future as I see it as a major papercut in the mint experience. After window management application launching is the most used function of a DE.

Yes, this is the *ONLY* criticism I have against Linux Mint (I'm using LMDE).

This is a small bug, but it's *so* anoying I try to avoid using the menu as much as I can.

To you all, why not just use the scroll wheel?

@Tman Because I, or my grandmother, may not know or want to. It may be that I don't have one. There are many reasons. And the existence of a different way to operate the scrolling doesn't make the other being broken okay.
