Bug Description
The scrollbar in the Start menu looses it states when mouse pointer is too far away. If there are too many applications under a start menu category the scroll bar shows up, but when you drag it to see more applications it's very easy to move the mouse pointer too far to the right and then the menu scrolls back to the first applications. This can be a bit annoying. Of course I could use the mouse wheel but sometimes Linux Mint Start menu behaves funny when I use it and scrolls up and down
I'm running Linux Mint 9 Isadora, Kernel Linux 2.6.32-21 Gnome 2.30.2

I'm unsure what it is what you're trying to say.
You're saying that by not using a vertical scrollbar as its supposed
to be used, it does not work?
Or you would like some mechanism implemented whereby mintMenu
allowed "lazy dragging" ?
