I confirm that issue on Mint 17.2 and 17.3 affecting Dolphin (same as mentioned above 4:4.14.2-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1).

The bug is likely to be solved from KDE developers in KF 5.20.0 (Bug 356278 - dolphin does not show any file information in copy dialog), https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356278
As the changes seem to be of minor extent maybe there is a chance to provide a patch for Mint 17 also to get rid of this annoying bug. Thank you!
