Bug Description
Dear Developing Team,
I found the problem as follows:
1) Version and edition of LINUX MINT and Krusader:
Linux Mint 17.2 MATE "Rafaela" 32-bit
Krusader: Version 2.4.0-beta3 "Single Step"
Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.2
2) The problem:
I use Krusader file manager. When I want to copy or move one file form a folder into another one in which there is an older version of the given file an overwrite dialog box pop up, titled as "File Already Exists". Unfortunately there are not any information (file properties or details of the files) about the files, e.g. type, size and date of creation and last modification, in the dialog box.
To reproduce it:
i. Create a text file.
ii. Start Krusader.
ii. Copy the text file into another directory.
iii. Step back into the first file and copy it again into the the second folder (i.e. try to overwrite it).
3) What happen:
"File Already Exists" window pop up, but it does not show the file details.
4) I expect to happen:
"File Already Exists" window shows the type, size, data of creation and last modification details of both files.
5) The problem always happen.
I hope it will be fixed soon because this bug is very annoying during work.
Thank you.
I also encountered the same issue on Linux Mint 17.2 and Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa. The problem affects both Dolphin File Manager (4:4.14. 2-0ubuntu1~ ubuntu14. 04~ppa1) and Konqueror File Manager (4:4.14. 2-0ubuntu1~ ubuntu14. 04~ppa1) .
My machines are:
1) Asus A45VM with Intel Core I-7 3610QM CPU and 16GB of memory.
2) Dell Lattitude E6400 with Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GiB memory.
Both my installations are "Linux leonardo 3.19.0-32-generic #37~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 22 09:41:40 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux". The problem persists with both upgraded and newly installed OS.
