The number of concurrent threads is now set to 80.

If this still doesn't work for you, try and reduce that number (here's the line of code https://github.com/linuxmint/mintsources/blob/master/usr/lib/linuxmint/mintSources/mintSources.py#L441).

This bug was fixed in mintsources 1.3.8.
