After compiling Ubuntu 8.10's kernel with CONFIG_RTC_DRV_CMOS=n and setting a wakeup time using /proc/acpi/alarm, my system woke up from S5. That is an acceptable workaround 'til some fix will be made.
Tell me what to do next, to help fixing this problem.
