Sorry for double posting, but can please somebody REMOVE the duplicate tag from this thread? To my knowledge it was quite well established by now that this is a different bug - for one, bug #194214 describes something where a key is permanently stuck and will most of the time only recover after an X reset. Here, the stuck key will get unstuck after a few seconds.
For all of you who actually use an xserver-xorg-core version of at least >=1.4 (I don't), PLEASE install and try the workaround/patch/deb-package posted in #194214 to make 100% sure that it is a different bug and that the patch will not help - or to check the off-chance that the patch works for this problem here as well. Thank you very much.
