The dkms package Recommends :

linux-headers-generic-pae | linux-headers-686-pae | linux-headers-amd64 | linux-headers-generic | linux-headers

none of which are provided by current Linaro linux-headers-* packages. Therefore installing dkms ends up unnecessarily pulling in some random headers package (omap headers for 3.2 from the Ubuntu repository ). Download and unpacking these large packages takes several minutes on boards with slow storage, and it is also confusion for the user to see 3.2 OMAP headers being installed on a 3.4 non-OMAP kernel .

This problem should be solved by simply adding 'linux-headers' to the Provides: line in the control file for Linaro linux-headers package.
