Bug Description
Binary package hint: gcc-4.3
If we go to:
https:/
we see that the template "gcc-4.3" in Ubuntu Intrepid package "gcc-4.3" has a lot of untranslated strings (4990) for the French language, but there are a lot of these strings that are already translated in previous versions of gcc, for example in gcc-4.2.
If we search "expects type" in gcc-4.3 French translation, we find for example:
4143.
English: format %q.*s expects type %<%s%s%>, but argument %d has type %qT
Current French: (no translation yet)
Translated by Michel Robitaille on 2008-09-13
Suggestions: le format %q.*s attend un type %<%s%s%>, mais l'argument %d est du type %qT
Used in gcc-4.2 in Ubuntu Intrepid package "gcc-4.2" by Cyril Adrian on 2007-03-13
URL: https:/
I don't understand why there are a lot of strings translated in gcc-4.2, but not used in gcc-4.3.

Hm, I dunno, too. Is there a possibility to apply the translations from LP upstream in the project?
