Jaap, Launchpad already follows bug reports in the bug trackers of other distributions. For example, bug 161893 is linked to the equivalent bug report on bugs.debian.org as well as on bugs.freedesktop.org.

If you realized this, then I'm misunderstanding your request, in which case could you elaborate on what you want? And if you didn't realize this, what would you have expected to see or do to link to another bug tracker?
