Not showing toolbar buttons on right side

Bug #1766266 reported by Hildo Guillardi Júnior on 2018-04-23

Bug Description

Depending of the monitor resolution, KiCad does not show some of the button on the right side panel.
In the screenshots the 1360x768 and 1920x1080 are shown different.
I propose as correct user interface, when is not possible to show all the button, show an "arrow" on the toolbar, indicating that the next buttons can be accessed clicking on.

There is a system requirements page[1] on the KiCad website which specifies this so it should not be that much of a surprise to users.

Yes. My proposed is just fix it (as usually made in the most of the software): create a button "<<" that open the rest of the toolbar.

I understand what you are asking. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. wxWidgets supports this toolbar behavior in it's wxAuiToolbar object but the last time we enabled this feature it was very buggy so we disabled it. That was with wxWidgets 3.0.0. Maybe the issues have been resolved but I'm not willing to risk it for v5. Hopefully it has been fixed in newer versions of wxWidgets.

I agree, make stable is a priority.
