  Inviting a New External User Is Throwing a Server Error

Status in KARL4:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  There is an issue going on with the external user invitation process.
  After filling out the account creation form you get the following
  server error:

  Internal Server Error

  The server encountered an unexpected internal server error

  (generated by waitress)

  The user gets created, but they can't login with the password that they set. And obviously the error is confusing and has generated some support tickets. Can you investigate?
