The workaround suggested earlier, using Preview from the printing page and printing from that, works. Prints the whole page with no missing top area. Seems strange, but it provides a way round the problem. How do I record that this problem is now ended? (I am not very conversant with the protocols - was born pre-war and have to struggle to keep up with the technology!)

Both sides and the bottom of the image print satisfactorily to within 4 mm of the paper edge. The problem does not arise if I save it as a .pdf document and print that (although the scale changes a little), so not a printer problem. Any suggestions as to what the problem is?
