Bug Description
Every time I apply a filter, the boundring box of the object becomes large than the object itself. Sometimes the filter effect leak outside the shape of the original object.
Once converted to PDF and then printed, the boundering box of the filter creates artifacts on the edge. There is a copy of a scanned artifact in this thread.

First, it would be interesting to correct this bug.
Second, one of the way to prevent artifact and prevent the filter from exiting the shape is to clip it to a duplicate of the original shape. This will make sure that for example, a specular light will not lighten objects around the target object. But duplicating and cliping all objects with filters is very time consuming and annoying to do.
So a feature I would like is the possibility to automatically clip the filter to the target object. You could have a check box in the filter editor to enable/disable the clipping and you could have a default option that clips everything or everything except blur (which is so far the only filter I see that you would not want to clip).
