pdf export with blur misaligned (older svg files?)

Bug Description

When saving as PDF with rasterized blurs (default options, 300dpi), the blurred objects are out of alignment.
-- details --
1) I have an svg file created using inkscape 0.46 (mac) consisting of several simple shapes (closed, filled paths). To add shadow/halo, I had made a copy of each object, filled it with black, added blur to the edges, and pasted it in place, lowering it beneath the original object so that part of the blur is visible and resembles a halo. (See attached svg file).
2) When I open this file using 0.47-pre1 (osx version, downloaded 7/7/2009) and save it as a pdf file (with all the default options, resolution for rasterization=300dpi), the rasterized background shadow objects are shifted upwards slightly, and the upper edges of the blur are clipped off. The effect is subtle, but it is noticeable if you zoom in a bit.
-- more information --
1) The problem seems to go away if I resize the document using File->Document Properties
2) I should mention that I have not noticed this problem yet when creating new svg files (although I haven't really tried doing this). I notice it when opening old svg files created with version 0.46
3) The problem does not go away if I open it in 0.47-pre1 (the latest as of 7/7), save it as a "plain SVG" file and reopen it.

To be clear, this is a bug with 0.47-pre1, not 0.46. Sorry, I hope I didn't confuse the issue.

I just noticed this bug might be related to bug 205732.
(Sorry. I did look first.)
However the effect I'm noticing is not so dramatic as the one given in that example.

By the way, earlier I mentioned that "The problem seems to go away if I resize the document".
Upon further testing, this trick does not consistently work for me.

Not reproduced on Debian Testing (cairo 1.12.2), Inkscape 0.48.3.1 and trunk revision 11943.

Since it's a Cairo bug that is now fixed upstream, I'm closing the report "invalid". Don't hesitate if you run into the same issue with a recent Inkscape version and a recent cairo version (1.10+).

Thank you for checking up on the status of this bug. (I have been exporting to png files since then.) I had forgotten about this problem until the email alert.
Indeed, this problem has been fixed in the current version of inkscape (0.48.3.1 r9886) on ubuntu (12.10). I'm not sure if the bug report was helpful. I am glad the issue is fixed. (I'll revert back to pdfs again.) Thanks!
