Hi - thanks for reporting this bug. We've moved to a new bugtracker on GitLab, so I'm closing the issue here. The issue can now be tracked in https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/3519 (and for the opacity issue in comment 5, https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/6958).
