Comment 13 for bug 319644

Closing as part of bug migration. The specific crash mentioned should now be fixed in 3e2303e81604d7e9a309a7cf5f210dafffe7689a, but OOM crashes still may occur.

Issue is currently being tracked in https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/656 , though hopefully it can be closed soon.

Note that by happenstance, I found that a linked image is less likely to crash (if you're just trying to get this to work).

Closing other running programs helps too.
