Comment 63 for bug 179988

I tried the above patch (https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/179988/comments/54) and built a new version from the trunk from March 13 and it didn't seem to make any difference. On printing as vector there was no crash, but still printed small and with blocks. On printing as bitmap it was perfect, but the spool file was 32Mb at 72dpi, so it's not really practical.

I think I patched /src/ui/dialog/print.cpp properly, and the build seems to run normally in other ways, but my build experience is limited. I haven't yet managed to get the 0.46 branch patched and compiled, but will try using Tortoise.
