I came across this while researching a different issue. I'm not sure why additional information has not been requested here. And I'm not really a bug manager either.

But at a very minimum, we need a link to the tutorial. We need to know specifically which part of the tutorial you're concerned with. If it's a video, give us the time around when the issue is covered. If it's a text tutorial, give us the direct quote.

If you can reproduce this problem, please tell us the specific steps. Also, if possible, please provide a test SVG file.

If you're not really sure if this is a bug or not, please use either the User Community mailing list, or IRC, or post the problem in a forum, where we can help you troubleshoot. You can find links for all those things here: https://inkscape.org/en/community/

And finally, please tell us your operating system.
