Time delay by drawing through Wacom Tablet

Win 7 Professional 64 bit Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1), Laptop Aspire Timeline X 4820TG, Wacom Tablet Intuos CTL-480S-S, Inkskape 0,91 for Windows 64 bit. Problem: time delay by drawing through a pen tablet. No delay by using Paint (Win7).

Does hiding the rulers help? You might also want to try whether it helps to improve perceived performance to run Inkscape with Windows Classic theme instead of any Aero-based theme.

(64bit builds of 0.91 use a recent cairo git master build (1.14.1), whereas 0.48.5 and 32bit builds of 0.91 use cairo 1.11.2).

Feedback about whether or not hiding the rulers does affect performance would be appreciated.

I am commenting here to provide feedback that was requested of the original poster.
My configuration is similar to this user and I was having the same problem. I am using Windows 10, Inkscape 0.91, have an Intuos Pen Small, CTL-480/S0-AX. I saw significant delays in drawing, but none in paint. I turned of the rulers and suddenly the delay disappeared.

I also have the same issue - and turning off rulers seems to fix it. I only have those rendering issues when using the pen input - mouse seems fine. When the rulers are off, no problems either way.
