which itself is a duplicate of
- Bug #172137 “LPEs must be affected by the "scale stroke width" switch”
  <https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/172137>

Issue 2 is a regression in trunk (incorrect change of scale when changing document units) - does not occur in current stable.

Proposing to link this report as duplicate to bug #172137 and file a separate report about the regression in trunk (0.48+devel).
