The test did not cover indicator menus in any great detail. However, one notable result reported was that, as predicted, people didn't understand why webcams and other hardware devices were in the same menu as turning off the computer.

The most elegant way to fix this is to remove the hardware devices section from the session menu. We can improve people's access to hardware devices in more direct ways: for example, implementing the printing status menu <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Printing#menu>, and optionally auto-launching Cheese (916021) or Simple Scan (bug 916006) when the relevant device is connected.
