Perhaps all that is needed to fix this bug is to say:
"You are using Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009."
Instead of:
"Thank you for your interest in Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009."
I personally don't think the existing phrase is unclear at all, but perhaps the person who reported this bug could comment.
