Especially if you're doing HDR panos, you're bound to have at least 6, possibly 12 or more images overlapping at one point.
In the case of 6 images in one spot you need to position at least 6 pairs of points, ideally 20 (each image with each other), in case of 12 images it's 77 already.
If I could give hugin 12 sets of coordinates and it created the 77 pairs(!) of control points for me, that's be a large help already. If it could put that into a single control point spanning the respective images, still better (in case I'll need to edit that point later...).
